When Water Damage Runs Deep, Crazy Seal Goes Deeper
What started as a simple roof restoration quickly turned into a much bigger job. Gustavo’s RV roof revealed more hidden water damage than expected—including mold, rotting OSB, and aging seams that needed serious attention. But thanks to Crazy Seal and a determined contractor, the final result is nothing short of stunning.
The restoration began with careful inspection and surface prep. Mold was bleached and dried out, and a large 48×30 section of OSB was replaced. Damaged areas were covered with 1/4″ Luan, and seams were reinforced using Crazy Seal’s tape and cloth system.
Two gallons of Crazy Patch and five gallons of Crazy Seal were applied in multiple layers, with a final caulking step to level everything for a professional finish. Even the AC unit remained intact—front bolts were adjusted with silicone washers to avoid removal, saving time while maintaining a strong seal.
With edges wrapped and sealed, this RV roof is now stronger, waterproof, and built to last. From overlooked damage to watertight perfection, Crazy Seal handled it all.
